Yarmouth Schedules June 24 Special Town Meeting on Citizen Petition Warrant
YARMOUTH — A Special Town Meeting is set for June 24, 2026, after the Yarmouth Select Board executed a citizen-petition warrant last month, giving residents roughly two weeks to review the articles before they vote.
TOWN HALL
The Select Board voted on May 20 to approve and execute the warrant for the June 24 Special Town Meeting, which was triggered by a citizen petition. The full warrant is posted on the town website at yarmouth.ma.us for residents to read ahead of the meeting.
Residents who still need a 2026 beach or disposal sticker have an opportunity this weekend: the town will hold sticker sales at Town Hall on Sunday, June 14. A downloadable application is also available on the town website for those who prefer to prepare in advance.
Drivers heading to the Disposal Area should be aware that construction work is ongoing and delays are possible through Sunday, June 15.
