Town Hall Opens Sunday for Sticker Sales Ahead of June 24 Special Town Meeting
Town Hall is open today for 2026 beach and disposal sticker sales, giving residents a Sunday window to secure passes before summer fully kicks in, while a Special Town Meeting set for June 24 — triggered by citizen petition — keeps the civic calendar full this month.
TOWN HALL
Residents who still need a 2026 beach or disposal area sticker can head to Town Hall on Sunday, June 14, for in-person sales. It is a rare weekend opportunity at the building, so anyone who has been putting off the errand should make the trip today.
Also worth noting for anyone heading to the transfer station: construction work at the Disposal Area that began June 8 is expected to wrap by June 15, but drivers should still plan for delays through at least Monday.
The larger civic matter on the horizon is the June 24 Special Town Meeting, called following a citizen petition. The Select Board met May 20 to review, approve, and execute the warrant, which is now posted on the town website at yarmouth.ma.us for residents to read before the meeting. Anyone planning to attend should review the warrant in advance; no date change or cancellation has been announced.
