Falmouth Sewer Project to Close Maravista Ave Ext Starting Monday

DATELINE — FALMOUTH

The town's ongoing sewer project will expand its footprint next week, with Maravista Avenue Extension set to close between Route 28 and Mattapan Street beginning Monday, June 29, adding a new detour on top of the existing Brick Kiln Road closure.

TOWN HALL

The sewer project construction update issued Friday afternoon confirms that Brick Kiln Road will remain closed between Sandwich Road and Oxbow Road. Starting Monday, June 29, Maravista Avenue Extension will also be closed between Route 28 and Mattapan Street. Both closures are in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers should plan alternate routes before the Monday morning commute.

Also from Town Hall: residents with leftover latex paint have one more day to act. A latex paint recycling event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27. Check the town's alerts page at falmouthma.gov for location and drop-off details (https://www.falmouthma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=1849).

The Select Board is also scheduled to meet Monday, June 29, with public hearing notices posted alongside the meeting on the town calendar.
