Dennis Select Board Unanimously Approves Carlton Hall Design to Move Forward

DATELINE — DENNIS

The Dennis Select Board voted unanimously Thursday to move forward with a proposed design for Carlton Hall, capping a day that also brought a wastewater project update and a Fourth of July safety preview from town officials.

TOWN HALL

The Select Board's unanimous vote to advance the Carlton Hall design marks a notable step for the long-watched municipal building project. No dissenting votes were recorded in the board's action, which clears the way for the design to proceed to the next phase.

Separately, the town posted an updated status report on its ongoing wastewater project. Residents following the infrastructure effort can find the latest details at the town's civic alerts page (https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=185).

With the holiday a little over a week away, the Town of Dennis and the Dennis Police Department are coordinating preparations for a safe Fourth of July weekend. An earlier June 15 release outlined public safety measures, traffic changes, and increased enforcement at Dennis beaches — plans that are now being reinforced ahead of the holiday.
