Bourne Select Board Approves Graduation Party Use of Monument Beach Baseball Field

BOURNE — June 23, 2026 — Bourne Select Board approves Monument Beach Baseball Field for a June 28 graduation party in a four-minute meeting. The board voted 4-0 Tuesday to grant Mitch Kirkland's special event application for use of the town-owned baseball field, subject to conditions of all town departments. Member MJ made the motion; members Gene, Peter, and the Chair joined in the unanimous roll call vote. Melissa, who joined via Zoom late, was not present for either the event vote or the adjournment vote that immediately followed.
